This book is a collection of lectures by Mother Terasawa, who advocates herself as a "philosophical artist," explaining the most important collection of essays by Shozo Fujita, a thinker who sharply dissected the structure of postwar Japanese society and the emperor system.
Published in the 1960s after the Security Treaty, "Principles of Ruling the Emperor System of the State" redefined the emperor system as a principle of domination that defines the power structure and national psyche of modern Japan. Mother Terasawa points out that more than a century after its publication, the ruling principle analyzed by Fujita is still manifesting itself once again in a different form, as seen in the "Haikei" statement by the Commissioner of the Imperial Household Agency regarding the Tokyo Olympics in the wake of the new Corona disaster.

To be honest, the "regular reading session" is not profitable from the standpoint of creating material efficiently, but it is a way of saying, "I'm feeling relaxed! But it is an expression of our intention to say, "We have time to spare! In terms of frequency, I have already done this quite a bit. We do it about 20 times a year. This book club has saved my life in some ways. In an industry where we are constantly under pressure to be "unsuccessful as comedians," we are always saying, "So what? Mother Terasawa Biography
Born in Kitami City, Hokkaido in 1982. After graduating from Yokohama City University, she entered the master's program at the Graduate School of Political Science, Waseda University. Through the study of political thought, especially that of Hannah Arendt, she examined the mechanisms by which human beings become complicit in totalitarianism. However, he was expelled from the graduate school when he reached a dead end in his research. He decided to become a comedian, half to escape from his research, and the other half to change the direction of his expression. Currently he advocates himself as a "philosophy comedian" and performs at comedy gigs in Tokyo and at self-organized seminars on philosophy books.
