Performer Profile

Jin Oki

Fascinated by flamenco guitar, Oki studied flamenco guitar in earnest while traveling back and forth between Spain and Japan, won the Encouragement Prize at the 1997 Japan Flamenco Association Newcomer Performance, made his major label debut in 2006, and in 2010 became the first Japanese to win the International Competition for Flamenco Guitar in Spain. In 2010, he became the first Japanese to win first prize in the international flamenco guitar competition in Spain, and appeared on TBS's "Jounetsu Tairiku," which closely followed his performance. Since then, he has been active in many fields, including publishing flamenco guitar instructional books and providing single songs to EXILE. In addition to his solo performances, he has collaborated with top artists of various genres from around the world and performed with orchestras, ballet, nagauta, and Noh. He is a board member of the Japan Flamenco Association.


Saigenji

Saigenji is a singer-songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist who creates music that transcends borders and genres, taking in all kinds of music from soul, jazz, and hiphop. He freely manipulates voice, guitar, flute, and percussion, and his performances, backed by his outstanding technique and sense of style, are breathtaking. In addition to his own solo work, he has provided featured vocals for MONDO GROSSO, Rabo Tomita, FPM, and others, songs for Emi Tawada, bird, and others, the opening song for J-WAVE Saudi Saudade, soundtrack songs for movies and anime, and many other activities. Miyuki Hatakeyama
