(Head office: 8-3 Minami 20-chome Nangodori, Shiroishi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido; Representative Director: Tomonori Watanabe) has concluded a franchise agreement with R&I Company Limited (Location: 8-2-24 Minami 20-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido 064-0920; Representative Director: Kozo Saito) to open a new head office on Friday, December 5, 2025, and a new store on Friday, December 5, 2025, in the same location. SiOKUMA BAKERY Asahikawa Shunko" (10 Shunko-machi, Asahikawa, Hokkaido 070-8639) will open on December 5, 2025. SiOKUMA BAKERY has a 27-year history dating back to its predecessor, Lemon Bakery. The "Salt Bread Dog with Open-Fired Sausage (336 yen)" is a special menu item available only at the Asahikawa Shunko store, and consists of juicy sausage sandwiched between crispy salted bread on the outside and chewy on the inside. The saltiness of the butter and the delicious flavor of the sausage make a perfect match.

In our 28th year, we decided to launch a specialty store focusing on the simple yet popular trend of "salted bread". The products and design of the shop will be totally produced by hanninmae, the same company that created the very popular and famous "Milked Drake," "Maruyama Bagel LOOP," and "Fermented Milk Butter Honpo.

SiOKUMA BAKERY's bread is made with Hokkaido wheat "Minori Chikara" and "Harukirari" and rolled with butter in a simple dough. Unlike ordinary salted bread, SiOKUMA BAKERY's bread is characterized by its pretzel-like, sticky texture.
