Social Contribution Project "TAKI SMILE DESIGN LABO Conducted social contribution activities at Magoso School in Kenya for the 4th time

As part of the social contribution project "TAKI SMILE DESIGN LABO (SDL)" undertaken by Taki Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshikazu Takizawa), we will visit Kenya from December 6 (Saturday) to December 8 (Monday), 2025 to conduct a workshop at "Magoso School" in Kibera Slum. The workshops will be held mainly at "Magoso School" in Kibera Slum to support orphans in need of educational assistance and children who have difficulty living in the slum.

SMILE GLOBAL WINGS", a joint project by the people of Japan and Kenya

SDL, a social contribution activity project undertaken by Taki Corporation, is a project initiated by Taki Corporation volunteers based on the question of what social contribution we, who work in the field of advertising production, can make. Up to now, we have been involved in various activities in Japan and abroad with the goal of "bringing smiles to people's faces through the power of design.

Our first visit to "Magoso School" in Kenya was in 2014, and this year will be our fourth visit. The purpose of this year's activity is also to provide educational support to the school, to which we have been providing ongoing support, using design to support the children's creativity and learning.

In addition to the "SDL" activities, IDEAL, a UX design production company, is currently working on a darts tournament project in Kenya for young people living in Kibera Slum, using a UX design process developed by interns. We would like to introduce it as well.
