Yabushita Corporation (established 102 years ago), a general trading company of eyeglasses, will release its original eyewear "Koichi Yamadera EYEWEAR" jointly developed with popular voice actor Koichi Yamadera. The product will be available for pre-order on the official website from September 19, 2025 (Fri.), and will be shipped sequentially from October 1, 2025 (Wed.).

Development background: The concept is "high-quality sunglasses (eyeglass frames) that Koichi Yamadera would want to wear all the time and that he can use on a daily basis.

Yabushita, which has been involved in numerous collaborations with anime and movies, has teamed up with popular voice actor Koichi Yamadera for this project. Yabushita had a series of meetings with Koichi Yamadera to develop this completely original model, which was designed and manufactured based on the concept of "high-quality sunglasses (eyeglass frames) that Koichi Yamadera would want to wear all the time and that he can use on a daily basis.

Frame: The design was created from scratch while maintaining the "square plastic frame" image of Mr. Koichi Yamadera.

*Fabric: "Gray Sasa" fabric, which has an elegant transparency and blends well with the skin, is used.

Detail: The metal fittings connecting the front and temples are casually designed with Koichi Yamadera's signature Y.

Koichi Yamadera EYEWEAR" is printed on the inside of the temples, and the Y and WEAR are printed in red, which was one of Koichi Yamadera's ideas.

Comfortable to wear

*The parts connecting the front and temples are made of beta-titanium, which has supple springiness, for a comfortable fit.

*Balancer: A metal part inspired by Koichi Yamadera's "mountain" is placed at the end of the modern. It also serves to balance the weight with the front.

UV-cut lenses: UV-cut lenses with a UV transmittance of 0.1% or less are standard equipment. Light gray colored lenses give a calm impression.

*Degree-compatible: For those who need degree-compatible lenses, it is possible to have your glasses fitted with degree-compatible lenses at an optician.
