What is "kifunone"?

It is a platform that works with small and medium-sized manufacturers and retailers nationwide to sell products with donations attached at regular retail prices.

Users can select a donation recipient and purchase products to support the organization they are supporting through their daily purchases.

■ Background

Most non-profit organizations working to solve social issues are unable to obtain sufficient funds for their activities on a regular basis, and spend much of their time raising funds through crowdfunding and other means.

On the other hand, many users would choose to purchase a product with a donation if it is in the same price range, and products with donations that have been sold so far tend to sell well. However, the donation recipients of donated products sold to date have been predetermined, and many non-profit organizations have not been able to receive donations no matter how many of these products are sold.

To address this problem, we launched "kifunone," a website in cooperation with small and medium-sized manufacturers and retailers nationwide that sells only products with donations at regular prices and allows purchasers to freely choose the recipients of their donations. The site has been in operation for about two years with little publicity, but with the support of many people, it has become a platform for regular use, and in May 2025, it became an evaluation project for the Business Feasibility Evaluation Project conducted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Small Business Promotion Organization.

kifunone does not handle any products from major manufacturers, as we want to be a service that supports not only non-profit organizations working to solve social issues, but also small and medium-sized manufacturers and retailers nationwide.

We aim to realize a society in which small local companies and stores that cannot spend much on marketing and advertising can also survive.

To this end, we have released "Kifu-Pos," a subscription service for products with donations that includes a donation to a supporting organization in the subscription fee, and a monthly delivery of selected products from across the country to your mailbox, in order to give users a chance to learn about the special products of small and medium-sized manufacturers and retailers across Japan.
