Not just books! You can find bargains! 8/21 (Thu) - 8/24 (Sun)Book & A" at Seibu Kosho Kaikan, Koenji

We will hold the antiquarian book exhibition "BOOK & A" at Seibu Kosho Kaikan, Koenji for four days from August 21 (Thu.) to August 24 (Sun.), 2025.

Main visual

The BOOK & A exhibition is held five times a year and is open until 7pm on all four days.

The sale exhibitions at the Antiquarian Book Hall usually last for two days and generally end at 6pm, so the BOOK & A exhibition is a chance to enjoy it at your own pace.

In addition, we will be open for longer hours on Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th, 2025, the days of the 66th Tokyo Koenji Awa Odori Festival!

You can enjoy it together with the festival.

Exhibition hall 1

Books" includes literature, social sciences, history, folklore, Japanese books, art, hobbies, maps, picture books, magazines, photo collections, and more. We offer a wide variety of books at relatively low prices.

A" is for art and antiques, including prints, sculptures, picture books, records, CDs and DVDs, dolls, toys, and junk.

Because we are likely to add more items in the second half of the show, many visitors come twice, once on the first day and once on the weekend.

Venue 2

The outside space is more like a flea market, where old tools, clothing, records, and sometimes chests, desks, and old sewing machines are sold. Other items include tableware, surfboards, pornography, scraps, fossils, postcards, old clocks, lanterns, various dolls from around the world, etc. Overall, there is a strong subcultural flavor, but literature and folklore are also strong. Movie pamphlets, manga, and picture books are  display.

Venue 3

Because of its location in Koenji, it is visited by many young people, families, and women. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming, making it easy for even first-time visitors who have never been to a second-hand bookstore or antique book sale to feel welcome.

This year, the venue has a new air conditioner, and we are looking forward to seeing you in the cool, air-conditioned venue!
