The competition is now the largest wine competition in Japan. It is now known as one of the largest wine competitions in Japan, with a total of 860 entries for the 2025 competition. TWIN PEAKS BLANC 2024
Deep flavor created by various innovations, including two separate harvests
Twin Peaks Blanc is a blend of Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, and Albariño grapes harvested by hand. By increasing the percentage of Petit Manseng compared to last year, we were able to create a clean Chardonnay with citrus flavors and aromas reminiscent of black tea and honey. Last year, when temperatures were high, the "Petit Manseng" grapes were harvested at two different times, with the early harvest providing acidity and the remainder fully ripe to bring out the aroma.
Twin Peaks Blanc is the first wine made from 100% Ibaraki Prefecture grapes to win the Silver Award. The winery is aiming to win the award again next year in order to boost local winemaking and enhance its reputation as a winery.
