Hakodate New Fireworks, to be held for the first time on August 31 on Green Island! A special one-night-only event that brings together the power of the community

Hakodate New Fireworks" (organized by Hakodate New Fireworks Production Committee) will be held for the first time on August 31, 2025 (Sunday) on Green Island in Hakodate, Hokkaido.

This project was born from our experience of being in touch with people's emotions and economic realities on the ground through "food" and "festivals" while belonging to a community-based economic organization.

This is a new attempt to revitalize the community that is both feasible and has a ripple effect on the region.

The event will start at 1:00 p.m., and the venue will be lined with a variety of gourmet food stalls.

There will also be stage events such as a kill-theater performance produced by Takafumi Miki, an actor and model and winner of the "32nd Hijikata Toshizo Contest," a cosplay contest, and dance performances.

The finale of the event will be a fireworks display of 3,300 shots synchronized with music.

The fantastic light and sound display will beautifully illuminate the night sky of the Green Island.
