The independent animation film "A Journey to Return TADAIMA" (45 min.), directed by Takashi Muramatsu, who has won awards at film festivals in Japan and abroad, will be released in theaters at Shimokita-Ekimae Cinema (K2) on Friday, August 1, 2025.

Synopsis

Mana watches the night sky with her childhood friend. Countless shooting stars melt away beyond the horizon. At that moment, Mana hears a voice. A mysterious voice that seems unfamiliar, yet nostalgic. Mana sets out on a journey to find the source of the voice.

The director himself handled all aspects of the story, images, and music, creating an appealing worldview with a sense of unity. Many popular VTubers, such as Asano Ruri, are used for the voices. The film won the Grand Prix in the Animation Division at the Seishon Film Festival.
