FFF Award Executive Committee
The FFF Award Committee is pleased to announce the "FFF Award 2025", a film project competition set in the Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture (FFF = Fukushima Film Frontier). This award is a film project competition open to anyone regardless of genre. The Grand Prix winner will receive a cash prize of 1,000,000 yen, and we will also provide support and assistance for the film production of the submitted project.
This project is part of the "Fukushima Hamadori Visual/Art Culture Project," a project to revitalize the Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture through visual/art culture, and is subsidized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

‟FFF Award 2025" will be held in Hamadori, Fukushima Prefecture, a region that is currently attracting a great deal of attention from filmmakers as it offers new possibilities for film production. The "F" can be Fantasy, Fiction, or Future. Please put a new meaning to the letter "F" with your own sensitivity. We will put those feelings on the film and open the frontier of cinema from Fukushima. Take a picture of Hamadori. Try to win an award in Fukushima. ■Why you can apply with your project proposal
You don't have to complete your project yet. As long as you have a thought and a concept.
The FFF Award does not accept completed films,
We accept submissions with a "film plan" rather than a "completed film".
Scriptwriters, producers, students, and inexperienced filmmakers are all welcome.
We want to depict a story from your own point of view set in Hamadori,
If you have such a desire, you are qualified to apply.

Riana Nemoto (Representative of Soso Film Commission)
Born in Odaka-ku, Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture. Experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake when she was in her third year of junior high school. After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Cinema, she worked for an advertising agency before returning to Fukushima in 2021 and establishing the Soso Film Commission in 2024 to revitalize the local community by attracting film content production.
