Asia Model Festival 2025 Kids & Junior Division Entry for the Japan preliminary round is now open!

Asia Model Festival, one of the largest modeling festivals in Asia, will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025.

We will start accepting applications for kids and junior models who will represent Japan in the official programs, "Asia Open Collection Kids & Junior" and "Face of Asia Kids & Junior" to challenge the world.

What is Asia Model Festival?

Asia Model Festival is an international modeling event representing Asia, organized by AMFOC (Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee) with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the event brings together selected models, designers, and artists from more than 23 countries. With fashion at its core, the event attracts attention from around the world as a global stage where culture, art, and diversity intersect.

Face of Asia: International contest for representative models from Asian countries

Asia Open Collection: A fashion and beauty show featuring multi-generational models

Asia Model Awards: A grand ceremony to honor prominent models and artists from Asia.

So far, some of the world's top talents, such as Sun Yoon mi, who made her debut as a Louis Vuitton exclusive model (selected as one of the "World's Top 50 Models" in 2022), have flown the flag at this event. This event is more than just a runway, it is a "gateway to dreams" and a unique opportunity to express oneself on the international stage, transcending borders and languages.

■ The Exclusive Role of the Japan Kids Association

The Japan Kids Association is the only organization in Japan that can officially recruit and recommend contestants for the following two categories, which focus on the next generation of models.

Face of Asia - Kids & Junior

The Japan Kids Association is officially authorized by AMFOC and will be in charge of everything from entry acceptance to the selection of the Japanese representatives and accompanying them to the main event in Korea.

Dates: October 25 (Sat.) - 28 (Tue.), 2025

Venue: High1 Resort Convention Center, High1 Resort, South Korea

Local schedule (tentative)

Oct. 25: Local assembly and rehearsal

October 26: Appearance at Asia Open Collection (brand stage)

October 27: Exclusive photo shoot

Oct. 28: Face of Asia Kids & Junior Final

Age grouping: A = 5 to 8 years old / B = 9 to 13 years old / C = 14 to 19 years old

Application Guidelines (Japan Preliminary Round)

Target age group: 5 to 19 years old

Approximate height: 130cm-185cm

Gender and experience are not required. Healthy and willing to challenge self-expression.

Selection Method: Documentary Screening (Profile/Model Card), Walking Video

Entry fee: Entry is free (details after selection will be announced separately)

Capacity: Early closing if there are too many applicants
