Selling more than 800 boxes a day, Warabiya Honpo's most popular product is its yamoro no warabimochi (melt-in-your-mouth). We received more than several hundred requests for the matcha flavor through in-store and on line surveys. It took a lot of prototyping and time, but the "Tororo no Warabimochi Uji Matcha" was created using Kyoto's Uji Matcha green tea. The mellow taste of matcha green tea and the melt-in-your-mouth texture make this an addictive dish. It is rich yet has a refreshing aftertaste, making it delicious even in the hot summer months.

Sold at all stores from July 1. Three types of "Chilled Tamashi Warabimochi" to relieve the heat

Three kinds of cold and sweet "Chilled Tamashidama Warabimochi" suitable for hot summer are also available at all stores from July 1. The mochi has been sold exclusively at the Kuzuha Mall store since June 25, but we have received requests to carry them at all our stores. The shop offers three types of mochi: zenzai, kuromitsu kinako, and matcha mitsu kinako. The "chocolate cream" and "green tea cream" are sold only at the Kuzuha Mall store.
