TwoFive Inc. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a leading messaging security company, has concluded a distributorship agreement with QTnet Corporation (Head office: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyushu Electric Power Co.
With this agreement, QTnet will begin selling and supporting the introduction of "DMARC/25 Analyze," a cloud-based DMARC analysis service developed and provided by TwoFive, to companies and local governments in the Kyushu region.
How DMARC works
◆Importance of DMARC utilization that does not end with its introduction
Damage caused by email "spoofing" remains a serious issue. DMARC, an industry-standard technology, has been adopted by more than 90% of Nikkei 225 companies, and the need for its adoption is increasing regardless of the size of the company.
On the other hand, there are many cases where DMARC is not fully utilized because it is "just implemented for the time being. In the future, an "operational phase" is required to analyze and visualize the authentication results to understand the "spoofing risk" and take countermeasures.
TwoFive's "DMARC/25 Analyze" is a service that aggregates, visualizes, and analyzes DMARC analysis results and provides them as easy-to-understand web-based reports, helping users to understand the authentication status of domains and potential risks and to take concrete countermeasures, even without specialized knowledge. The service provides easy-to-understand web-based reports.
The service can also be used by small and medium-sized enterprises and other organizations that do not have dedicated security personnel to implement effective countermeasures against identity theft.
◆Strengthening of deployment in the Kyushu region and contribution to the local economy
The Kyushu area is home to many leading companies that drive the local economy, including Kyushu Electric Power, Fukuoka Bank, Saibu Gas, Nishi-Nippon Railroad, Nishi-Nippon City Bank, and JR Kyushu. There are also many companies with sales exceeding 1 trillion yen and many small and medium-sized companies with high growth potential, with more than 10% of the nation's companies concentrated in the area.
Fukuoka City, where QTnet's head office is located, has attracted national attention for its corporate attraction policies and concentration of IT companies, and this momentum is spreading throughout Kyushu.
Against this backdrop, TwoFive, through collaboration with QTnet, will promote the spread of DMARC and improve its operational level to strengthen "countermeasures against spoofed e-mail" throughout Kyushu.
TwoFive will also provide proactive technical and implementation support to customers who are planning to introduce DMARC, thereby contributing to the realization of a secure e-mail environment.
