Wakayama Prefecture and Adventure World Release Visitor Count Survey Results Golden Week in 2025 will be 210% higher than the previous year!

Blog Watcher, Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Shigeru Niimura; hereinafter "Blog Watcher"), a provider of location data collection, analysis, and utilization services, has compiled data from its "Odekake Watcher" human flow monitoring tool, which specializes in analyzing tourist traffic, and conducted a nationwide analysis of human flow during Golden Week this year. The results of the analysis showed that the pandas were returning to Japan.

As a result, we are pleased to announce that the number of visitors* to Adventure World (Shirahama-cho, Wakayama Prefecture), which has been the focus of much attention since the announcement of the return of the pandas, was 210% higher than the previous year.

Please note that the number of visitors* data may differ from the official data released by Wakayama Adventure World, as it is the result of Blog Watcher's research into the actual flow of people during the period and at the spot in question, using its own location data. In addition, visitors are defined as "those who live more than 20 km in a straight line from their presumed residential area to Adventure World.

We analyzed the distance of visitors to Adventure World from their place of origin (estimated area of residence*), and the results were as follows. While the absolute number of visitors from all distance zones increased, the increase rate of visitors from short- and medium-distance zones was relatively high.
