Shohjo (located in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto; CEO: Tomoya Nao), a musical unit that mainly performs taiko drumming, will begin a special program of long-run performances at Tenkyoin, a temple nestled in a bamboo grove in Rakusai, Kyoto, in the fall of 2025, offering a "quiet Japan" and "real Japan" experience. The program will be performed in the autumn of 2025 at Tenkyoin, a temple set in a bamboo grove in Rakusai, Kyoto. This is a program to prepare the body and mind through a dialogue with the beauty of Japan and nature of the four seasons, while immersing oneself in the live performance of Japanese musical instruments such as taiko, shinobue, koto, etc. On June 20 (Fri.), we will begin accepting applications for partnerships with travel agencies, lodging facilities, and luxury service providers that can offer this program to affluent visitors to Japan and travelers with a high level of wellness consciousness. We hope that you will take advantage of this one-of-a-kind experience of Japanese nature and traditional culture as a special proposition for your company.

Features of this program
The "luxury of silence" of bamboo groves and temples away from the hustle and bustle, and "completely improvised performances" by professional performers of Japanese drums, shinobue (bamboo flute), koto (Japanese stringed instrument), and Japanese dance in harmony with nature. The most attractive point of this event is the "real" Japanese cultural experience, which cannot be found in tourist attractions. In this project, the music is performed without using musical scores, and is completely improvised in response to the sounds of nature at that moment. The sound of the wind, birds chirping, seasonal flowers and grasses, and the air - this performance, in which we receive these sounds with all five senses and weave sounds by focusing on the "here and now," overlaps with the practice of mindfulness and wellness. Please come and experience a once-in-a-lifetime sound experience where nature and the heart resonate with each other.
Flow of the experience】※Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes *Subject to change
1. welcome and relaxation (30 minutes): Time to stroll through the bamboo grove and stone garden and harmonize with nature.
