Seraph Enomoto Donates Funds to Two Guide Dog Associations

Seraph Enomoto Co. (Location: Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Osamu Enomoto; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which is engaged mainly in large-scale repair work on condominiums and pet renovation projects, visited the Ibaraki Guide Dogs for the Blind Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "Ibaraki Guide Dog Association") and the East Japan Guide Dogs for the Blind Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "East Japan Guide Dog Association") in May 2025 and made donations. (hereinafter referred to as "Ibaraki Guide Dogs for the Blind Association") and the East Japan Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (hereinafter referred to as "East Japan Guide Dogs for the Blind Association") in May 2025. The donation includes the money raised at the 15th Interpet, which will be used to foster guide dogs for the blind.

＜Fundraising at INTERPET

We held our third fundraising event at INTERPET, following last year's event. In addition to the East Japan Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, which cooperated last year, the Ibaraki Guide Dogs for the Blind Association joined us this year, making it the first time we had two organizations in attendance. The venue was bustling with visitors who stopped by to meet the PR dogs and select charity goods, and we received warm support and encouragement from many people.

Outline of the Fundraising Campaign

Period: April 3 (Thursday) to 6 (Sunday), 2025

Total amount raised: 132,102 yen

Charity goods sold: 59,710 yen (30% to 40% of the proceeds will be used to raise guide dogs for the blind)

<Visiting both associations for donation payment and training

We donated 100,000 yen each, including the amount raised at INTERPET, and received letters of appreciation from both associations. The visit to Ibaraki Guide Dogs for the Blind was also used as an opportunity to deepen employees' understanding of guide dog fostering, and during the visit to Ibaraki Guide Dogs for the Blind, Mr. Saito, representative director of the association, spoke to the employees and they experienced walking and interacting with Stella, Lily, and Elsa, PR dogs. At the East Japan Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Mr. Narabe, the executive director, and other staff members explained the activities of the association, gave us a tour of the facilities to learn about guide dog training, and allowed us to interact with the PR dogs Izumo and Akari.

We have long been committed to supporting the visually impaired, and have continued to interact with the Guide Dog Association through donations and other means to promote the development of guide dogs in particular. From the viewpoint of further promoting social contribution, we have been supporting guide dog development as part of the SDGs since 2022, and have set an annual donation of 340,000 yen by FY2030 as a benchmark, which we will continue to support and further expand in the future.

＜East Japan Guide Dogs for the Blind Foundation

The East Japan Guide Dog Association is a public interest incorporated foundation located in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, and is a rare facility among guide dog associations located adjacent to the Tochigi Prefectural School for the Blind. In addition to training guide dogs, it also organizes tours, "Guide Dog Friendship Day" and "Welcome Day," and other events where you can learn about visual impairment and guide dogs.

＜Ibaraki Guide Dogs for the Blind Foundation

A general incorporated foundation based in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Established in 2012, it is the 11th youngest guide dog training facility in Japan designated by the National Public Safety Commission. Although it is a very small facility, it breeds several guide dogs a year and lends them to those who wish to use them, mainly in the Kanto region.
