This event is a commemorative event for the publication of a separate volume of "Leisure" under the supervision of Maki Asami, "Enjoying Khmer Cuisine: Recipes for Gentleness," which was released on April 25, 2025.

Profile of Maki Asami

Born in Kagoshima Prefecture and raised in Wakayama Prefecture. Currently runs a restaurant by Lake Miyagase with her husband and a travel agency introducing the area. She is also the representative of a non-profit organization that supports education and living environment in Cambodia and other countries. Her special skills are driving and garaging a car, cooking, and English conversation. Through cross-cultural exchange, I would like to create a world where people can share their warmth with each other regardless of nationality, gender, or age. I am working every day to be a part of that.
