Khmer cuisine is Cambodia's traditional home cooking. Khmer cuisine is a traditional Cambodian home cooking, in which herbs and spices are used in just the right balance, and it is energizing but not too stimulating, making it gentle to the stomach. Two dishes will be served based on the recipes included in a separate volume of "Leisure" entitled "Enjoying Khmer Cuisine: Recipes for Gentleness. Maki Asami herself will be cooking the dishes.

Profile of Maki Asami
Born in Kagoshima Prefecture and raised in Wakayama Prefecture. Currently runs a restaurant by Lake Miyagase with her husband and a travel agency introducing the area. She is also the representative of a non-profit organization that supports education and living environment in Cambodia and other countries. Her special skills are driving and garaging a car, cooking, and English conversation. Through cross-cultural exchange, I would like to create a world where people can share their warmth with each other regardless of nationality, gender, or age. I am working every day to be a part of that.
