The swimming pool has been renewed and its resort-like appeal has been enhanced!

The entire surface of the poolside has been refreshed with a new sheet of material that suppresses the rise in temperature caused by direct sunlight. It is now less likely to get hot even when walking barefoot. In addition, the edge of the pool has been renovated to make it easier to sit down and feel more at one with the spectacular view of Lake Hamana.

(2)Swimming lessons by qualified instructors started

Lessons on breathing, kicking, and other key points. Recommended for those who stay consecutive nights stay as it is held during the lunch break at the swimming pool.

Starts in August. Paid lessons. Reservations accepted up to the day before (group lessons will be offered depending on the number of participants).

Using locally harvested vegetables and seafood from nearby waters, try Korean, Szechuan, Chinese, Italian, Hawaiian, Spanish, and other cooking from around the world. Of course, local specialties such as broiled eel, Hamamatsu gyoza, sashimi, and pressed sushi, as well as cool dishes such as Hamamatsu soba noodles, chilled Chinese noodles, and cold noodles are available at the noodle corner.

A popular Korean dish using a local brand-name pork. The standard sweet and spicy miso paste "Samjang" is made with local Mikkaibi mandarin orange juice as a secret ingredient.

The special Genovese sauce is blended with Shizuoka matcha green tea as a secret ingredient. and it's served in a summery glass bowl.

(3)Oven-baked local summer vegetables and fish with leek-salt

Summer vegetables such as zucchini and bell peppers from local farmers and fish caught in the Sea of Enshu are quickly cooked in the oven and served with a simple leek-salt flavor that brings out the flavor of summer.

(1)Guided Pottering (Bicycle Walking) Tour

Hotel Staff will guide the local town. You can feel the pleasant morning breeze as you take a electric bicycle. The tour will take you around the lakeside while introducing fairy tales passed down in Mikkabi and memories of the World war Ⅱ that have been introduced on TV.

Time: 7:00 - 11:00 (approx. 1 hour)

Reservations accepted until the day before. 2,200 yen per person (tax included/includes electric bicycle rental)

(2)Fruit Daifuku Making Experience

In collaboration with a local wagashi (Japanese confectionery) shop, visitors will wrap Enshu fruits (grapes in summer) in freshly steamed rice cakes. After completion, a blissful tasting of the freshly made rice cake awaits you.

(3)Old private house cafes and local diners

We will guide you to local cafes and diners where locals gather within 10 minutes by rental bicycle (free of charge). You can experience Mikkaibi lunch beyond the gourmet web sites.

Restaurant

In addition to local specialties such as broiled eel and Hamamatsu gyoza (dumplings), local ingredients are used in a variety of seasonal themes. The restaurant challenges itself to create "delicious food" using local fish and vegetables caught in the Sea of Enshu, as well as famous Mikkabi oranges and Shizuoka matcha green tea.
