However, conventional weather forecasting is focused on broad-area forecasts, and there are limited means to grasp the "current" weather conditions at each station in real time.

Imatetsu. was developed as a weather information service specialized for railroad stations in Tokyo to meet these needs. Based on observation equipment installed at approximately 70 locations around Tokyo and AMeDAS data from the Japan Meteorological Agency, the service utilizes spatial completion technology to visualize real-time weather information for each station. We propose a new form of weather information for urban residents.
