This performance, "Chung Inu Tachi Hachiko: Warry! Utarte! Summer Concert" is a new type of family performance that combines comedy and music! Summer Concert" is a new type of family-friendly performance that combines comedy and music.

The duo will be composed of and perform by the Iwate Prefecture-born female duo "Chunyu Tachi-Hachi-Taka," who won third place in the 2024 "Female Comedian No. 1 Contest THE W." A graduate of Sophia University and a graduate of the University of Yamanashi School of Medicine, the duo will also be performing in the "Summer Concert. With their unique backgrounds as graduates of Sophia University and the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Yamanashi, they have attracted attention in their hometown of Iwate as well as in other parts of Japan.

Breaking the stereotype that "music halls are places to be quiet," this project offers a "vocal and enjoyable" concert experience for parents and children, including preschoolers, and is attracting attention as an attempt to broaden the "gateway" to music and performing arts. The first half of the concert is a children's participatory music and theater performance.

Who is "Chuchi-Inu Tachi-Hachi-Taka"? A female comedian duo from Iwate

Nomurafusso (graduate of the University of Yamanashi School of Medicine) and Ohsaka (graduate of Sophia University) are a female duo. Both are from Iwate Prefecture and have been familiar with theater since their school days. 2024 "THE W" drew attention with their comedy based on a politician and a sensual novel, and they won third place in the finals.

Since then, they have expanded their activities to television and dramas.

Violin x Piano x Geisha - Highlights of the unique stage

Duo O's, a music unit active mainly in the Kanto area, will perform together. The music will be performed by violinist Hatsune Okubo and pianist Ainaga Seo, and will be accompanied by a music play and a story about a loyal dog, Tachi-Hachi-Taka.

Born in Miyagi Prefecture. After graduating from Toho Gakuen School of Music, she has been performing in Kanto and Miyagi, and has appeared on Abema TV, All Night Nippon, etc. She will give her first solo recital in 2025.

Ainaga Seo, piano

Born in Tokyo. After winning a prize at the 3rd International Piano Accompaniment Competition in Japan, she graduated from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, where she worked as an ensemble pianist. She has performed with many musicians, mainly in chamber music and accompaniment, and has been involved in educational institutions and artistic projects. In recent years, she has focused on performing Beethoven's complete works and has been active in a wide range of fields, appearing in the media and at music festivals in various regions.

How did the collaboration between a comedian and a classical musician come about?

This unique collaboration between a comedian and a classical musician began when Duo O's pianist Seo was a big fan of Tachi-Hachi-Taka Chuden.

One day, Seo invited violinist Okubo to attend a comedy concert featuring Chūinutate Hachitaro. After the show, Seo had a chance to talk with Chuchinutate Hachitaka himself, and they struck up a conversation, saying that it would be fun if they could hold a concert together someday. Duo O's took these words to heart, and the day after the concert, they arranged a song by Hachitaka in a classical style and proposed it directly to Grape Company, the company to which Hachitaka belongs. From this point on, the collaboration project between the two began in earnest.

The first collaborative performance was held in May 2025 as "Spring Concert. The unique stage that transcended genres was enjoyed by many audiences and was a great success.

The audience will be able to enjoy the performance by the performers and the storytelling by the audience.

The stage will allow children who were interested in "wanting to hear more" and "wanting to see more" in the first part to get to know the live performances and comedy more deeply.
