Living Life Innovation, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of JK Holdings, Japan's No. 1 building materials distributor, has released RoomPalette, a free 3D living space simulation software.

Using high-definition 3D models of actual products provided by furniture and building material manufacturers, the software enables users to create floor plans and interior design simulations with simple, game-like operations.

For example, users can select furniture to be used in a new house or a new building while checking the actual arrangement of the furniture. In the future, the app's matching function will also allow users to send their layouts to nearby construction companies and interior design firms for quotes and meetings. Most functions are available free of charge.

The Windows PC version will be released first, but other devices such as Mac PCs, iPads, and iPhones will be supported in due course, and a variety of functions will be added in the future.
