Hibiya Design is pleased to announce the exhibition "Daihyakki Yagyo - Aizawa Nini no Yokai Emaki" at Design Festa Gallery Harajuku in Harajuku, Tokyo, starting on August 2, 2025.

This exhibition marks the 10th anniversary of the series this summer, and commemorates the 100th illustration of yokai, a group of yokai that combines tradition and originality.

The "Japanese Specter Series" has sold more than 30,000 units at Nakano Broadway and other vending machines, and the "Tsukareru Yokai LINE Stamp" has been a hit with more than 5,000 total downloads. The "Stamps for Youkai LINE" have been a hit, with a cumulative total of more than 5,000 downloads.

In addition to the latest 41 newly-drawn yokai, a collection of works (new publication), which will be exhibited for the first time at the exhibition, will be available for sale.

As a sample of the new book, visitors can enjoy a wall display of more than 100 yokai.

In addition, a variety of original goods such as Japanese paper-style stickers, teacups, and tenugui towels will be available for visitors to enjoy the world of the works even more.

We hope you will experience a new form of expression that resonates with the city of Harajuku.

Points to look forward to

☆A photo spot will be set up in a part of the exhibition space, where you can take a picture as a white fox.

☆Try your luck with a total of 100 kinds of yokai! Even very rare yokai! The Yokai Can Magnet Gacha will be in operation.

This exhibition will be the first time for this type of yokai to be exhibited! Specter Goods Gacha will be in operation.

You can vote for your favorite yokai with stickers. The top 5 yokai will be made into original goods at a later date!

Special novelties will be given to those who purchase the exhibits or cooperate with the voting!

☆Purchasers of the art book will receive an autograph with their name on it if they wish.
