Atami Pudding, a popular pudding specialty store in Atami (Location: Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture; Operated by Fusinone Co., Ltd.), will grand open its fifth store, "Atami Pudding Kuraimiya Station Store," on April 25, 2025 (Friday) at 9:00 am, in the premises of Kuraimiya Station on the JR Ito Line, next to JR Atami Station.

In addition to popular products such as the signature "Atami Pudding with Special Caramel Syrup," the store will also offer "Mugikogashi Pudding" named after Koromiya Shrine, a popular sightseeing spot in Atami, "OOKUSU Drinking Pudding" served in a cup over 20 cm high in the image of an over 2100 year old camphor tree designated as a national natural monument, and "OOKUSU Drinking Pudding. Atami Pudding was created in 2017 with the mission of expressing the charm of Atami by filling it with "good old Atami" and making it more enjoyable for young people, thereby revitalizing Atami. The following year, the second store with the theme of "bath" and the third store with the theme of "vacation" were opened in Atami Ginza, which was still sparsely populated. In 2019, a fourth store was opened with the theme of "drive-in" as a fun experience during a drive. Each store has expressed the nostalgic charm of Showa-era Atami while making the most of their respective themes.

This year, the 100th anniversary of the Showa period, a new "Atami Pudding Kuraimiya Station Store" will be opened in Kuraimiya Station as a facility that expresses the charm of the "railroad and station," a symbol of the Showa period. About Kuraimiya Shrine

Kuraimiya Shrine is called "Kuraimiya Daimyojin" and is located as the deity of the landowner of Atami Township, and has long been worshipped as a god of good fortune and luck.

The sacred tree "Ookusu" next to the main shrine, designated as a national natural monument, is over 2,100 years old and was certified as the "first" giant tree in Honshu (second in Japan) by the Ministry of the Environment in 1992.
