The Earth Grand Prix Executive Committee (Chairman: Hiroki Ogita: Representative Director of M00N Corporation, from Kanonji City, Kagawa Prefecture, former Japanese track and field pole vaulter at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics) will hold the track and field event "Earth Grand Prix 2025 Kagawa" on May 17 and 18, 2012.
The concept of this Grand Prix is "to touch and experience the world level with top athletes," and the event will consist of the "Official Games," which are officially recognized by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations, where top athletes from Japan gather, and the "Exhibition Games," where athletes and general participants take part together. The Grand Prix will be held for two days with "Official Games" officially recognized by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations, "Exhibition Games" and "Talk Events" in which athletes and the general public will participate together. In this Grand Prix, top Japanese athletes including Shingo Suegusa, an active sprinter who has kept his time in the 10-second mark for 100m over 40 years old, will participate and aim to represent Japan in the World Championships in Athletics. This will be the first time for this Grand Prix to be held in Kagawa Prefecture.

The Earth Grand Prix is an athletics event where the "Official Games," in which top athletes certified by the JAAF challenge official records, and the "Exhibition Games," in which the general public can enjoy the experience of athletics with top athletes, coexist. The Grand Prix is a track and field event where "Official Games" in which top athletes challenge official records and "Exhibition Games" in which the general public enjoys experiencing track and field events with top athletes.
In this Grand Prix, the 100M, long jump, and pole vault events will be held, and top Japanese athletes will gather at the Kannonji City Sports Park Track & Field Stadium to represent Japan at the upcoming World Championships in Athletics.
The Grand Prix will be held for the first time in Kagawa Prefecture, with plans to hold the event in other locations in Japan in subsequent years, starting with Kagawa.
The Grand Prix is also unique in that it will be sponsored by local companies in the host prefecture. By creating opportunities to experience the performances of world-class athletes with the power of the local community, we hope to stimulate local tourism as well as develop human resources who will advance to the world stage.

About the Exhibition
The purpose of the exhibition is to expose top athletes and general participants to the world through competition. Crowdfunding starts on April 12 (Sat) at 10:00!

You can participate in the event on the day of the event. However, due to the priority given to participants with reservations, you may not be able to participate in the exhibition of your choice if you attend on the day of the event.

He is the first Japanese to win a medal in the sprint event system in the men's 200m at the World Championships in Athletics Paris 03. Won a silver medal in the men's 4x100m relay at the Beijing Olympics. He is a leading figure in the Japanese short-distance world, and is still an active sprinter, keeping his time in the 10s for 100m even after the age of 40. He is training for this year's World Championships in Athletics.

Currently, he is involved in a wide range of activities, including solving social issues and supporting athletes, utilizing his knowledge and experience in sports and as a top athlete.

Representative of umari Inc. He has been involved in numerous community productions and corporate branding projects, including the "Marunouchi Morning University" in Marunouchi, Tokyo. In Kagawa, he has created a system to connect cities and regions, Japan and overseas, such as "UDON HOUSE," an inn that conveys Sanuki Udon noodle culture. Currently, while moving his base to Mitoyo City, he invests in start-ups that promote regional and social change, and serves as a board member of several corporations.
