Even first-time visitors can experience making matcha while watching a video lecture. Please enjoy it with baked sweets made with Grand Marble's Danish pastries.
In addition, a selfie session in the tsuboniwa garden is available exclusively for those who participate in this plan. This is a special experience that allows you to preserve a memorable photo in a quiet Japanese-style space.
Enjoy the world of matcha green tea in a quiet and peaceful teahouse, despite its location in the bustling Gion district of Kyoto.
Matcha experience using tea utensils (tea bowl, tea whisk, tea scoop and jujube)
Making your own Matcha (powdered green tea)
You will learn how to make matcha by yourself while watching a video lecture in the tea room at the back of Grand Marble's Gion main store.
The lecture video, which explains how to make and drink matcha, is available in four languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean). We recommend taking photos and videos of the experience using tea utensils (tea bowl, tea whisk, tea scoop, and jujube (jujube)). It will surely be a memorable part of your trip to Kyoto.
Please enjoy with baked sweets (marble crunch or marble croute) made with Grand Marble's Danish pastries.
