Maki draws flowers, plants, and creatures that do not exist in this world. In addition to her own creative activities, she is also involved in many collaborations with companies, moving back and forth between analog and digital methods. Currently working mainly with drawings, he was awarded the Jury Recommended Work in the Art Division of the 12th Japan Media Arts Festival in 2008, Gullblyanten silver award/Norway, solo exhibition at Gulla Jonsdottir Atelier/L.A. in 2018, wall painting in San Diego, Taiwan, and Hong Kong in 2019, and a solo exhibition in Hong Kong in 2019. After working as a stylist in Tokyo, Shibasaki moved to France in 2012. She has been involved in buying children's clothing and lifestyle select stores. The French version was translated mainly by her bilingual Japanese-French daughters. Both of them, a university student and a junior high school student, are enrolled in schools in Paris.
