The market is full of fun programs for eating, cooking, and exploring!
There will be an "Animal Walk" where you can explore the rich nature of the trout farm to find answers, a "Fish Guide" where you can walk around the farm while listening to a fish expert, workshops to make fish-related artworks, and sales of original pizza, ponzu (Japanese sweet), and amazake (Japanese sweet sake). There are many programs that can be enjoyed by parents and children, friends, or even just one person.
The popular fishing spot is fun for children and adults alike!
The fish you catch can be immediately grilled with delicious salt!

Let's look for paper cutout animals!
◎Animal Walk by Teppei Hayakawa (held every day during the exhibition period)
Paper cutout artist Tetsubei Hayakawa's animals are hidden in the trout farm.
If you find all of them using the map as a clue, you can spin the gacha-gacha (gumbo) to get original socks, can badges, and other goods from the trout farm. First 120 visitors each day.
Learn in a fun way! Let's learn about the creatures of the trout farm!
◎Osakana Guided Tour (Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23)
Fish professionals will guide you to the must-see spots in the trout farm.
Participants in the guided tours will receive a certificate of completion originally designed by Tetsubei Hayakawa.
Held twice a day / departures at 11:00 and 13:00
◎Making a map of the living creatures (March 22 (Sat.) and 23 (Sun.))
Collect the designated number of stickers to complete a clear file of the Trout Farm's living creatures tour.

◎Kitchen Car Salice × Ritsumeikan University and Shiga Prefectural Nagahama Agricultural High School
This is an original pizza created by "Salice," a kitchen car popular for its pizzas using local ingredients, and members of Ritsumeikan University's Shutto Shiga. Pizzas using miso, gochujang (red pepper paste) and sausages made by students of Nagahama Agricultural High School in Shiga Prefecture are also available.

Awasei Trout Farm
The Awai Trout Farm, which will soon celebrate its 150th anniversary, is a Shiga Prefecture facility with the functions of trout production and supply, tourism, learning, and research.
Established in 1878, it is one of the oldest trout farms in Japan.
The environment surrounding the trout farm is a natural landscape of deep mountains and valleys, and is said to be the "home of mountain stream fish in Japan," with iwana, amago, rainbow trout, and loach being raised using fresh water from a limestone cave at the foot of Mount Reisen (1,094 m).

Born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture in 1982, Hayakawa is a paper cutout artist.
Born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture in 1982, Hayakawa began kiri-e (paper cutting) when he was a small child, playing with paper cutouts with his mother.
Based at the foot of Mt. Ibuki in Shiga Prefecture, he draws nature and wild animals he encounters on a daily basis.
He is exploring new possibilities for paper cutout expression, not only through his precise paper cutout works, but also through large-scale installations and light-ups.
