Star Dining Co. (Head office: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; President: Hiroyuki Nishimura), which operates restaurants in Kyoto City, has been challenging various cuisines and business categories centering on restaurants since its establishment as "Star Shokudo" in Nishiki, Kyoto in 1925, and has received satisfaction and "delicious smiles" from many customers. Since 2021, we have opened "Western-style prepared foods Star Shokudo" in Gokomachi and Takashimaya Kyoto store in order to make "home cooking more enjoyable and more enriching" in addition to eating out. We have been well received by many customers by offering a variety of dishes based on the concept of "Kyoto Western cuisine that goes well with rice" as well as our signature Western-style menu items such as "Kyomaru," our famous minced pork cutlet, quiche, and lasagna. In 2025, the year that marks the 100th anniversary of Star Shokudo, we will open the Kyoto Station Branch of "Kyoto Western-style food Star Shokudo" on the 2nd floor of the Kyoto Station Building Porta "Kyoto Station Branch," which specializes in Western-style lunch boxes combining the techniques we have cultivated for Western-style prepared foods and lunch boxes, as well as Kyoto-style dashimaki and black beef steak from our sister restaurant "Kyoto Niku Dan Shimura. The grand opening was held on March 7, 2025 (Friday) at the Kyoto Station Building Porta 2nd floor "Kyoto Meishoku, Meisai-jyo Kyouchi".

The restaurant specializes in Western-style boxed lunches and side dishes, combining the skills and knowledge of "Kyoto Western-style Star Shokudo," which offers prepared foods and boxed lunches that combine the yakiniku bento and steak bento of "Kyoto Niku Ninoshi-Mura" and our special Kyoto-style dashimaki, which has been closely connected to Kyoto and has been explored in the culinary arts for many years.

In addition to standard Western-style dishes such as the signature "Hamburger Steak & Fried Shrimp Bento (1,380 yen including tax)," you can also enjoy our original dashimaki, which we have carefully blended and flavored the dashi broth, the type of egg, and even the way it is rolled, in pursuit of the authentic Kyoto dashimaki, and Western-style standard dishes such as hamburger steak and fried shrimp The "Dashi-maki Western-style nori bento (1,280 yen including tax)," a Western-style bento with the aroma of kelp and mackerel, is a new and unprecedented Western-style bento menu item.
