Because of the heavy snowfall this year, we want to enjoy spring more than usual. We have prepared spring-colored hanami bento boxes to lift your spirits for daytime hanami, and lanterns to illuminate your feet for viewing the cherry blossoms at night when they are lit up. We also sell accommodation plans that include tickets that can be used at the hotel's stalls.

In addition to the Kannonji River, weeping cherry trees planted during the International Friendship Cherry Blossom Planting Festival*3 will be in full bloom in Lister Park*2, where the hotel is located, and visitors can enjoy cherry blossom viewing until early May.

Cherry Blossoms along the Kannonji River 2025 Fun Menu

<1> Stall at "Kanonji River Cherry Blossom Festival"! Hotel-made Hanami snacks will be sold.

Stalls will be opened at the Hanami Festival scheduled to be held during the blooming period. We will sell accommodation plans with coupons that can be used at directly operated stalls.

<2> We will sell colorful hanami bento (hanami lunch boxes) to enhance the hanami mood!

The bento box lunches, which can be taken out with advance reservations, have been newly arranged to coincide with the cherry blossom season. The bento boxes are filled with spring ingredients.

<3>Rental lanterns will be available to liven up the cherry blossom viewing at night.

It is a 10-minute walk to the venue where the cherry trees along the Kannonji River are lit up at night. Walking with the Lister lanterns will make you feel even more excited to see the cherry blossoms at night.

Walking along the rows of cherry trees along the Kannonji River

Spring opening of LISTER PARK including Inawashiro Herb Garden will start on April 5 (Sat.).

*1 "Cherry Blossom-lined Stroll along Kannonji River" is a scenic spot where cherry trees line the river for about 1 km from Kannonji Temple at the foot of Mount Kawagishi to near JR Kawagishi Station. The cherry blossoms are usually at their best from mid to late April.

*2 "Lister Park" is a vast highland sightseeing area that can hold 15 Tokyo Domes. It has various facilities such as a herb garden, ski slopes, athletic fields, RV park, and tennis courts.

*3 "International Friendship Cherry Blossom Planting Festival" is a support project held since 1998, inviting diplomatic missions and goodwill ambassadors of cherry trees from various countries. 2024 was held with the Ukrainian ambassador and his delegation.
