Background and Thoughts
In spring, flowers bloom on the trees, and Akao's photographs attempt to capture the existence beyond.
Akao herself suffered from an eating disorder in her teens and twenties, and through her subsequent involvement with Free Space, she discovered that her photographs resonate with people who are withdrawn or suffering from some other kind of problem.
He has continued to work closely with these people in their daily lives. He will be exhibiting his work overseas for the first time with the hope that his work will reach as many people as possible.
■Art Fair at the Carrousel du Louvre
The Carrousel du Louvre is located in the basement of the Louvre Museum in Paris. Art Shopping Paris" is held twice a year (spring and fall) in this salon space, which also hosts the "Paris Collections," and attracts a total of more than 10,000 visitors from all over the world.
In addition to paintings, calligraphy, and traditional crafts that reflect a strong sense of Japanese aesthetics, photography from a uniquely Japanese perspective has been gaining recognition in recent years.
