BEER&BOOK Nekomori x NOMCRAFT Brewing Collaboration Craft Beer with Takarazuka Dahlia and Blueberry Begins serving on February 21, 2025 (Fri.)!

Beer & Book Nekomori, a craft beer and used book store located in front of Hibarigaoka Hanayashiki Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line, has brewed an original beer, "TREASURE DAHLIA Treasure Dahlia" was brewed in collaboration with NOMCRAFT Brewing, a craft brewery in Aritagawa.

It will be available at BEER&BOOK Nekomori from February 21, 2025 (Friday).

Background of Original Beer Brewing

Beer & Book Nekomori opened in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, on November 29, 2024, with the concept of "craft beer and used books. As part of our efforts to promote the charms of Takarazuka City, we have decided to brew an original craft beer with the technical cooperation of NOMCRAFT Brewing, focusing on the dahlia flower of Takarazuka City and agricultural products from the Nishitani area.

The beer features

TREASURE DAHLIA is an American pale ale made with dahlia bulbs and blueberries grown in Takarazuka. Rather than bringing the dahlia and blueberry flavors to the forefront, we focused on harmonizing them with the beer.

On the palate, there are berries, passion fruit, and a hint of citrus. The bitterness is also moderate, resulting in a finish that makes you want to drink it again and again.

Ingredients ：Malt, hops, dahlia, blueberries, carrageenan

Style ：American Pale Ale

Alcohol Content ：5.0%.

Malt content ：50% or more

*This beer is treated as a sparkling wine due to the use of dahlias and blueberries as secondary ingredients.

The label was designed by Marino Baba. Marino Baba's design and the mountains that symbolize the town of Aritagawa are in perfect harmony.

Dahlias bloom from June and blueberries are ready to be harvested. Also, since the Takarazuka Memorial (G1) is held around this time at the Hanshin Racecourse in Takarazuka City, the silhouette of a galloping horse and dahlia flowers were used to decorate the design. The design is intended to evoke the liveliness of Takarazuka and the beauty of its natural surroundings.

TREASURE DAHLIA will be served in kegs at Inakiku Brewery (Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture), which will have a stall at KOBE BEER JAMBOREE 2025 to be held at Kobe International Exhibition Hall on February 22 (Sat) and 23 (Sun), 2025. The date and time will be decided on the day of the event.

［Inakiku Sake Shop] Inakiku Sake Shop is a liquor store in Toyonaka City that has been in operation for three generations since 1931. Okamachi Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line is the nearest station. The store sells nearly 180 kinds of craft beer, mainly domestic craft beer, and is the best craft beer store along the line.

About NOMCRAFT Brewing

NOMCRAFT Brewing is a brewery established in 2019 in Aritagawa-cho, Wakayama Prefecture. With a reputation for high quality, "Octopus King Dip Hop IPA" won first place in the IPA category with the largest number of entries at JAPAN BREWERS CUP 2024. The brewery is also actively involved in brewing beers that utilize local citrus fruits and sansho (a type of Japanese pepper).

The used books lined up in the store include books of various genres selected by the owner, as well as books from the Aozora Used Book Store in the same city.
