WagaMama, Inc. will hold "Watermelon Party 2025," an annual event covered in watermelons where participants will dutifully eat and compare more than 10 kinds of watermelons selected from all over Japan, on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at IKUSA ARENA (Nerima-ku, Tokyo).

About the Watermelon Party

This event, where selected watermelons from all over Japan will gather, is a must-attend celebration for watermelon lovers, hosted by Takeru Sato, the representative of Amai Watermelon, a watermelon mail-order specialty store. Not only can visitors compare more than 10 varieties of seasonal watermelons selected from all over Japan, but they can also purchase their favorite watermelons on site. Mr. Sato is widely known as a watermelon enthusiast, having appeared twice on the TV program "Matsuko's Unknown World.

Participants will be able to taste the various flavors of watermelons, learn about the thoughts of the growers, and compare different types of watermelons while deepening their knowledge of watermelons. Afterwards, if they find a watermelon they like, they can purchase it to take home.

Depending on the harvest, you may even be able to enjoy a secret variety that is not yet on the market.

Last year, the event was a great success, attracting more than 250 watermelon lovers from all over Japan. We are sure that many watermelon lovers will gather again this year.
