Tsukuba University of Technology is holding a special exhibition titled "Students with Disabilities Take the Lead! Co-creation Project with Society", the University of Technology Tsukuba is holding a special exhibition at "MEXT Information Plaza" in front of the entrance on the 2nd floor of the East Wing of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as described below. We hope you will visit the exhibition to learn more about our university's activities.

■Exhibition Overview
Tsukuba University of Technology, under the philosophy of "contributing to the fostering of a diversity environment in society as a whole that includes people with disabilities," has been strengthening cooperation with society and promoting co-creation projects, centering on the newly established "Faculty for the Creation of a Symbiotic Society," which will be established in April 2025.
The University has concluded cooperative agreements with several domestic institutions and is developing projects in which students with disabilities can proactively participate by working with partners who have diverse expertise and experience. By actively involving students with hearing and visual impairments, the University is promoting initiatives that combine practical learning with social contribution.
This exhibition introduces the specific products and activities of the projects that students have been involved in planning and managing as a result of the co-creation projects with society that the university has implemented so far, and displays the university's efforts toward the realization of a symbiotic society.

Navigation system for the visually impaired Braille blocks
The actual Braille block of the navigation system for the visually impaired introduced in the indoor panel will be exhibited.
The two-dimensional code of the navigation system is attached in the middle of the Braille block.

A video introducing the three faculties of Tsukuba University of Technology: Faculty of Symbiosis and Social Innovation, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Faculty of Industrial Technology will be shown.

Visually impaired students of the university produced a video work with the cooperation of professional creators. A video work depicting the world of narrowing of the visual field will be screened.
