■We are looking for people who can help us put up posters promoting the charms of Japan's heritage sites.

On May 24, 2018, the Jomon culture of the Chubu Highlands centered on the Yatsugatake Mountains in Nagano Prefecture was recognized as a "Japanese Heritage" by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. The posters now on view were taken in a total of seven areas from the cultural assets comprising the "Jomon World of the Starry Chubu Highlands" in 14 municipalities spanning this Nagano and Yamanashi prefectures. Seven sets of posters (14 posters in total for the combined posters) show the actual travels of the "Jomon Man Musai-san" and convey the unique attractions of the region that have remained unchanged since the Jomon period.

We are looking for people who would like to help us display all 7 sets of 14 posters!

■Message from the person in charge

Four months have passed since the "Jomon Man Musai-san" left the Idojiri Ruins in Fujimi Town. It is time for him to go home for the winter, and when the warmer season arrives, we hope he will travel again.

We sincerely hope that in the future, "Jomon Man Musai-san" will travel to Jomon ruins scattered all over Japan and enliven local events related to the Japanese Heritage.
