Iki Island's outdoor festival "ONE LIFE FESTIVAL" (organized by ONE ENTERTAINMENT), which was canceled in October 2024 due to a typhoon forecast, will be postponed to March 15, 2025 (Saturday).

We are currently accepting applications for support through crowdfunding. We have a variety of plans available, from a simple support plan to a plan that includes an admission ticket to the postponed event and a gift that will allow you to feel the energy of the island.

Early bird general ticket sales will begin on January 11, 2025!

Background

One hour by high-speed boat from Hakata Port. Iki Island is a remote border island with a population of about 24,000. Blessed with abundant seafood from the sea and mountains, and with a self-sufficiency rate said to be over 90%, "ONE LIFE FESTIVAL" is an outdoor festival that can be enjoyed with beautiful scenery in this rich nature. We wanted to enliven the island with music and art, so we began working together with artists from Iki Island in the summer of 2024. We perform live and open stalls at local festivals and events, and in October we started a radio program on local FM to promote the festival.

ONE LIFE FESTIVAL" was scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Encounter Village in Iki City, but due to a typhoon forecast just prior to the event, it was deemed difficult to travel by boat and set up the venue along the sea. For reasons unique to the island, the event was canceled in advance. However, I could not forget the smiles of many islanders who said with a twinkle in their eyes, "We are looking forward to it... I wanted to give it another shot for sure! I had a strong desire to give it another shot. We have decided to postpone the event to March 15, 2025 (Saturday).

Crowdfunding to support the event

We are planning to welcome DOZAN11 aka Michizo Miki as a special guest on the day, as well as live music performances by reggae and hip-hop artists, and various booths where you can enjoy plenty of food and experiences from Iki. This is an event that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike, transcending generational boundaries, both on and off the island, with the theme of cultural exchange and inheritance. Additional guests and events may be added depending on the amount of crowdfunding raised, which will be available on CAMPFIRE from December 16, 2024 to January 17, 2025.

The "ONE" in ONE LIFE FESTIVAL is taken from the "Ichi" of Iki, where the 700 year old traditional festival Daikagura has been held. I want to make the heartbeat of the island resound loudly in March, the closing month of the commemorative 20th anniversary of the establishment of Iki City, and unite everyone. And if the children of the island can dream bigger dreams with music as a bridge, and if people outside the island can know about Iki, that would be the happiest thing for us.
