Purpose and Background

In recent years, Malaysia has been attracting attention as a study-abroad destination that offers both a high-quality education and economical costs, and the number of Japanese families choosing educational migration is increasing. The English-centered curriculum and multicultural environment are major attractions for students aiming for international higher education and careers.

Under these circumstances, Pine Hills International School has received increasing interest and inquiries from Japanese parents, students, and educational institutions, and there has been a need to strengthen its Japanese-language support system.

Pine Hills International School has developed a unique program that combines the best of Eastern and Western education with the Japanese "HENKAN (conversion)" method. Pine Hills International School, established in 2001, is an international school with five campuses in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, serving students from 4 to 18 years old.

The school employs a small class size, with 10-25 students per class, to ensure that each student receives individual attention and care. As a foundation for learning, we have introduced the IGCSE (Cambridge International Certificate of Secondary Education), a world-standard curriculum that enables students to acquire solid academic skills and international qualifications through a British-style education. The school offers Cambridge International A-level courses from high school and maintains a high standard of education leading to entry into universities around the world.
