Moneru is an algae supplement developed by the members with PhDs of Algal Bio, a startup from the University of Tokyo, focusing on promoting good rest. From a wide variety of algae, we have selected a new Chlorella strain that is specialized for restorative effects on the body and blended it. Moneru received the “Innovation Awards” in the Food&AgTech category at the CES2023 tech trade show in the United States.

Since March 2023, the product has been sold mainly at clinics and has been well received by doctors of various specialties. This new tablet type, developed with a focus on ease of swallowing, is now available for purchase from the official Moneru online store.

■ How to use

Take 2 tablets per day with water or hot water. You can take it at any time of the day, between work, chores, or just to relax, whenever you like.

Taking during work and housework is also recommended.

Take it at any time of the day, such as during work or before relaxing. A 30-day supply is individually packaged in 2 tablets each and designed to be easily fit in a bag or pouch. Depending on your physical condition and constitution, you may increase to 4-6 tablets per day.

The Chlorella AL-0015 used in Moneru is a proprietary chlorella strain that our company has screened from a number of algae strains by focusing on factors that hinder rest, following over 20 years of algae research at the University of Tokyo. Algae has been present on Earth for approximately 3 billion years, and it is estimated that there are around 300,000 species on it. In order to apply this diversity of algae to various industries, we have established our own “algae library” of 1260 strains of 100 species, and have accumulated culture data for each species and strain, as well as in vivo / in vitro test results. AL-0015 is a proprietary algae strain discovered by Algal Bio through repeated screening of its library.
