Background of the crowdfunding

This project has been launched with the aim of creating a new kind of "welfare". Although the content of the crowdfunding is expressed in terms specific to dementia and group homes, there is a vision for a new "welfare" behind this project.

The new "welfare" we are aiming for is a completely new welfare that has never existed before. Until now, people have tended to think of welfare as something special, like "charity," to be used by special people. However, we believe that welfare is something much closer to home. For example, we think of it as something like eyeglasses. Some people wear glasses or sunglasses for fashion, while others wear them because they have a little difficulty seeing. Others wear them because they are restricted from working or performing certain tasks without them (e.g., driving license), while others cannot live their daily lives without them, and still others have low vision and have a disability certificate and wear glasses or sunglasses as "welfare equipment". However, I believe that very few people consider "eyeglass stores" to be "welfare stores that deal in welfare equipment.

In the same way, we aim to provide a "place" where everyone can spend a pleasant time regardless of age, disability, illness, or any other kind of difficulty in life, without being bound by the framework of welfare. We want to show that "welfare" is not something that is given as charity or an extraordinary thing, or a place for special people to go, but that it exists as an "infrastructure" that is part of everyday life.

We believe that realizing this grand dream will be difficult in the immediate future. However, we have begun to reduce to the minimum the restrictions imposed by the facility and the family, by putting the "will of the individual first" in the management system of the group home we operate. We are also trying to make the interaction with the local community more active. In the process, we are trying to put into practice our company's philosophy, "Be yourself and sparkle. We are working hard day and night to put into practice our company's mission statement, "Be yourself and sparkle. When we raise a certain amount of funds and are able to construct new facilities, including loans, we would like to create an amusement facility that removes the vertical divisions that have been used to divide people according to the difficulties they face in their lives.

We would like to create an amusement facility where various people gather on a large floor that integrates all kinds of day care services (day care center, child development support, after-school day care services, daily living care for the handicapped, and day care services for the elderly) for everyone from infants to the elderly, with cafes, candy shops, and taverns around the facility, where users of employment support can run their own businesses. The facility is surrounded by a café, candy shop, tavern, and other shops. For those who need medical care, including sick children, a general incorporated association will be set up, and a bedside clinic (or hospital) will be established there. Free or inexpensive hot spring facilities will be set up in the facility and released to the community, and at the same time, bathing assistance will be provided for the users, so that the community and the users can soak in the same bath. In the training gym, users undergoing rehabilitation will also work up a sweat together. The coworking space will be freely used for a wide range of purposes, from self-study for child students to remote working. The upper floors or a separate building will also house facilities for the elderly and handicapped.

The outdoor park space will include playground equipment, a footbath, and a dog run. The park will be open to the public and basically open to the local community so that it will be a place where people can interact with each other. If possible, we would like to set up a small wooded area where children and adults can experience nature.

Of course, it will require hundreds of millions of dollars to acquire the land and implement these plans. It is a "dream" that cannot be achieved immediately. However, in order to make this dream come true, we would first like to improve the management capabilities of the group home and set up a café corner and a candy corner in the group home. With the donations we raise, we would like to set up these facilities and make the group home a place where local residents can drop by. We have started crowdfunding for this first step. We hope you will help us spread the word about this project. Thank you very much for your support.
