Background
We plan to open a blueberry tourist farm in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, in 2025 with the aim of creating an "environmentally and health-friendly farm.
We are conducting this crowdfunding campaign to spread the appeal of blueberries (prevention of the three major diseases, skin beautifying effects, etc.) throughout Japan by selling processed blueberry products (gelato, crepes, etc.) in a trailer house, mainly through a blueberry-picking experience.
We hope to spread the use of blueberries, which can be grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and contribute to solving future agricultural problems such as abandoned farmland.
■Features
[Special cultivation methods
(1) Bacteria-enhanced cultivation
Large amounts of wood chips are sprayed at the base of the plants to increase the amount of mycorrhizal fungi that coexist in the roots, which is the key to pesticide-free cultivation.
(2) Grass-rooted cultivation
Pathways are covered with grass and clover instead of black mulch to diversify microorganisms, soften the soil, and promote root growth.
(3) Measures to avoid the use of pesticides
Spraying wood vinegar solution, setting pheromone traps, and catching insects by patrolling.
