High-Value-Added Hotel "CETRAY Nagoya (tentative name) To be opened in the spring of 2026! Settre's first store in the Tokai area

HORONIC Corporation (Head office: Higashinada-ku, Kobe; Representative Director: Ichiro Osada), a community hotel operator with a focus on the Kansai region, has decided to open its first new hotel in the Tokai region in eight years, "CETRAY Nagoya (tentative name)" (3 stories above ground, 24 guest rooms, 28 restaurant seats) in spring 2026. This will be the sixth hotel under the Settore brand. This will be the sixth hotel under the Settre brand.

We are pleased to be participating in the "NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS (tentative name)," a development project in the Nakagawa Canal Horikome area developed by Nagoya Station Development Corporation, Chubu Civil Engineering Co. We will enhance the hotel experience to make this area "an oasis in the heart of the city with a sense of port and culture" and deliver the charms of Nagoya to our guests. The new CETRAY is located in an urban redevelopment area in the metropolis of Nagoya, and is in a location that is unlikely to become a resort or purpose-built hotel (as an extension of daily life for business, shopping, urban leisure, etc.), so we will create a variety of content within the hotel to enhance the experience value. CETRAY Nagoya (tentative name) aims to "create a business model, architecture, interior, landscape, and contents that will not fade away even 30 years from now," and will be operated based on HORONIC's valued concept of "leaning on local producers and products and transmitting them on the hotel stage. We would like to operate the hotel based on the idea that "we will be close to local producers and products, and transmit them on the stage of a hotel.

Background of the opening of CETRAY Nagoya (tentative name)

The Nakagawa Canal, a historic canal that has supported Nagoya's economic and industrial development, extends in front of the hotel to be built, tentatively called "CETRAY Nagoya (tentative name)". The Nakagawa Canal has long been used as the axis of water transportation and logistics, but its use has been declining due to the development of civilization from water transportation to land transportation. Against this backdrop, the City of Nagoya and the Nagoya Port Management Association jointly formulated the Nakagawa Canal Revitalization Plan, which calls for proposals for the development of the Nakagawa Canal Horikome Area, with the aim of revitalizing the Nakagawa Canal into a "canal that brings vitality, relaxation, and liveliness," while respecting its historical role. Through various past relationships, we were approached by Nagoya Station Kaihatsu, a JR Tokai group company, to build a hotel that would be nurtured with the local community, and the public call for business proposals was successful among several companies, and the plan to build the CETRAY in Nagoya was launched. The project began when HORONIC, which plans local resources, was asked to build the SETRE in this location.
