bnick Co., Ltd. announces that it will hold a POP event "FUROSHIKI SHOW" by Sashiko artist JunAle at the showroom of Seoul-based denim brand Demil MFG. We are pleased to announce that we will hold a POP event "FUROSHIKI SHOW" by JunAle, a sashiko artist.

In addition to the exhibition and sale of handmade one-of-a-kind works, there will be a workshop where you can experience traditional rag stitching. In addition, on November 24 (Sun.) from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., there will be a custom order session for SASHIKO SNEAKER(TM) sneakers.

JunAle/Jun Sugimae

Born in Osaka in 1983.

Studied tailoring while in fashion school, and after graduation went to London to gain fashion experience as a brand assistant and opera costume maker, etc. Returned to Japan in 2006 and entered the sports fashion industry.

He started stitching in 2015, and in 2018 he started stitching on sneakers.

He has been presenting his works using the "Sashiko" technique to repair and decorate modern products such as sneakers and mountain parkas using only a needle and thread.
