Kochi FORESTVISION Co., Ltd. has positioned essential oils using Suzaki City's brand ponkan, "Tateme ponkan," as a representative scent of the city of the sea, Suzaki, and is working to create local industry through the production, sale, and scent of essential oils.

We are now working together with "Uranouchi producers" of Tatemeponkan and "Nekkotosora" Tani Wakana, who runs a salon in Susaki and is an aroma creator.

As a prefecture that delivers fragrances from Kochi Prefecture to the rest of Japan and to the world as a representative of Japan, we will work together with Susaki City, producers, and fragrance creators to deliver fragrances from Kochi Prefecture.

Kochi Forest Vision Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with Hidaka Village on December 21, 2022, and has been working to make Hidaka Village a "sacred place of fragrance. The company also endorses Hidaka Village's 2050 Zero Carbon City Declaration, and is working to develop environmentally friendly products at its only carbon neutral essential oil production facility in Japan. Kochi Prefecture is unparalleled in that it is the richest region in terms of trees, citrus fruits, and other raw materials for essential oils. We are promoting cooperation with 34 cities, towns, and villages in Kochi Prefecture to make Hidaka Village and the Niyodo River basin, as well as Kochi Prefecture, a sacred place for fragrances and a place where people can interact with each other.

The Tatemeki ponkan we are partnering with this time is a Kochi brand ponkan grown in the Uranouchi Tatemeki area of Susaki City, which is said to be blessed with three types of sunshine: moderate sea breezes, sunlight, and reflection from the sea and the stone walls. The ponkan has been carefully nurtured by the local people, who have been working their magic to make it sweet and tasty. This time, by establishing mutual cooperation with the producers, we will diligently work to preserve the history that has been handed down until now and the desire to leave it behind for future generations, using the method of "aroma".

With the support of Susaki City, we are pleased to announce the realization of a partnership with the Uranouchi farmers, producers of Tatemeka Ponkan.

At the same time, as a reassuring partner, Wakana Tani, who operates "Nekko to SORA" and is active in her hometown of Susaki, will collaborate with us as "Aroma Creation".

We will work on the creation of Kochi's fragrance by utilizing our creative, PR, and customer contact points and perspectives, and strive to deliver and transmit the fragrance of Kochi from Susaki City.

Together with the local community, we will work together with Kochi Prefecture, the prefecture of fragrance, to create a virtuous cycle of nature as an industry, and to revitalize the industrial cycle and local community centered on people.

In addition, we will work together with the farmers in the Uranouchi area to promote the mid-mountainous region and create opportunities for their successors, in order not to let the hard work of our predecessors who created the "Tatemeponkan" brand of ponkan fruit die out.

At the same time, we will deliver the blessings of Kochi to the rest of the country from the standpoint of the user, not from the producer's point of view, and create the industry of Kochi in Suzaki from the viewpoint of fragrance. We are proud of the collaboration between the producers, the aroma creators, and the aroma producers themselves.
