For dancers, the body is the most important capital supporting performance. However, through rigorous daily training and repetitive movements, dancers' bodies are prone to distortion, stiffness, and breakdowns. As a result, dancers are unable to fully demonstrate their true potential. Ken, a jazz dancer who holds the title of Japan's best dancer and has extensive experience as a bodywork therapist specializing in dancers, has established the "Japan Dancer Bodywork Therapist Association. What is Dancer Seitai?

Dancer Seitai" is a bodywork technique that aims not only to improve distortion, stagnation, muscle stiffness, and posture, but also to enhance softness and core control optimal for dancing. Dance has become a familiar and inspiring art form for many people, but there are many dancers who cannot enjoy it due to pain or injury. As a professional dancer myself, I have struggled with physical care, and I was acutely aware of the need for bodywork specifically for dancers.

More than 95% of the clients who come to the salon are dancers, and many of them have told me that they went to physical therapy or massage in the past but found it difficult to dance, or that they became afraid of physical therapy because it decreased their performance after being loosened up too much. I have experienced this myself, and have been researching what is the best approach for dancers' bodies.

Through the Japan Dancer Seitai Therapist Association, I would like to provide an environment where all dancers can continue to dance in good health and enjoy themselves for a long time, and to contribute to the further revitalization of the dance industry and the vitality of the world through the revitalization of dance."

Ken is a dancer and a chiropractor, and has developed "Dancer Seitai," a chiropractic treatment for dancers. His mission is to spread the knowledge of techniques that dramatically change physical performance to dancers around the world.

Career Summary

While working as a professional dancer, she encountered Osteopathic Bodywork that brings out the true performance of the body, and was shocked. He then went on to work as an osteopath at an actual osteopathic clinic, where he comprehensively and deeply studied various types of osteopathy, including "Thai bodywork, neural osteopathy, atopic osteopathy, skull adjustment, joint adjustment, muscle adjustment, and small face adjustment" at various locations.

He then established "Nekturn'", a bodywork salon specializing in dancers, based on his experience as an osteopath and a professional dancer.

Dancer bodywork, which has features such as "widening the range of dance expression with just one treatment" and "improving the sharpness of dancing and making turns easier," has become a hot topic in the industry, and has become a popular salon for more than 100 professional dancers. It became a popular salon with more than 100 professional dancers.

Later, he systematized his own technique as "Dancer Seitai" and held the only "Dancer Seitai Therapist Training Course" in Japan.
