■ Background of Establishment
It is difficult for a mother with disabilities and her child to live together. Because of their disabilities, there are endless cases of inadequate knowledge and support for child rearing, and deteriorating mental conditions that lead to abuse. The percentage of abuse cases involving parents with disabilities is said to be as high as 34% of all cases. Without support for parents, it is impossible to raise children, but there are very few group homes in Japan that can accept them and their children, and there is a lack of safe and secure environments for families to live together. We launched this project to solve this problem and provide them with a safe place to live.
■Features
◎Access to support for children (parenting) instead of the conventional support only for the parties concerned
Although this service is originally designed to provide support only to parents, we will create a system that will also provide consultation and support for child rearing.
◎Many medical and welfare professionals such as nurses, social workers, and mental health workers are on staff.
Personnel at the group home for the severely disabled with medical care work together to provide a safe environment even in times of anxiety.
◎Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day, and medical consultation and coordination are in place.
We are in an environment where you can consult with us at any time about your physical and mental health needs.
◎Care for children in a homelike atmosphere that differs from that of an institution
You can live in a home with a small number of people in a family-like atmosphere, not one of many people or families as in an institution.

This project aims to increase the number of new apartments (group homes) that can accommodate disabled mothers and their children with their families. By creating an environment where parents and children with disabilities can live together and consult with each other whenever they need help, we hope to improve their quality of life and provide them with a sense of security. Our goal is to create a place where families can spend time together without being divided by disabilities.
