Kanda SOBART" Returns after 23 Years From November 5 to 22, art will come to 10 soba restaurants in Kanda!

The Kanda Branch of the Tokyo Noodle Cooperative Association is currently holding "Kanda SOBART," an art event featuring 10 soba noodle shops in Kanda in collaboration with artists, from November 5 (Tuesday) to November 22 (Friday), 2024.

Artworks created by 10 artists will be exhibited at 10 soba stores in historic Kanda, offering a new experience of soba and art. In addition, we also produced a video that allows visitors to enjoy learning about the history of soba and its secrets. Visitors will be able to enjoy Kanda even more while experiencing the depth of soba and its cultural background.

We, soba shops in Kanda, are not only rivals but also comrades who improve each other. For a long time, we have been saying to each other, "I learned how to make handmade buckwheat noodles from the generations of the owner of XX store! There is a connection that has been passed down from generation to generation. Kanda SOBART" will bring a new wind of art into Kanda's soba culture, and encourage the younger generation to think, "Kanda's soba restaurants are interesting, let's go there! Let's go there! Breathing new life into the culture that has been passed down through the ages and the feelings of people connected through soba.

In this event, art works will be exhibited at each of the 10 soba stores in Kanda.
