Background

This is the fifth handmade roller coaster to be produced by current technical college students! This year, we will try to make it out of steel for the first time in Japan.

This year, we will try our hand at making a roller coaster out of steel for the first time in Japan. Through this roller coaster, we will show everyone how fun manufacturing can be.

We will graduate this year, and will seriously challenge this big project for the last time in our college of technology life! Thank you for your cooperation.

Features

The first project of its kind in Japan

There have been projects to build wooden roller coasters in many places in Japan, but there is no precedent in Japan for a self-made roller coaster made of metal, which requires advanced technology.

Craft Team STARSS is taking on the challenge of becoming the pioneer of self-made steel roller coasters.

This is the fifth roller coaster we have built since 2020. We were able to complete the operation without any accidents. We are challenging this difficult project with all the skills and experience we have cultivated in the past.

*Last project in the life of a college of technology

Craft Team STARSS was founded by a group of technical college students who love making things.

Since most of the founding members will graduate this year, the activities of Craft Team STARSS will come to an end this year.

We will build a steel roller coaster, which we have envisioned since the beginning of the project 4 years ago.
