Background

I work on Sundays, but I have been using a day-care service only on Sundays because there is no one who can take care of my children. I've been given consideration for shifts, but if I could work on Sundays and holidays too, I could actually become a full-time employee..."

We have been taking care of children from weekdays to Saturdays and have received such comments from parents. In order to provide an environment in which all types of families can receive equal support for childcare, we have started offering childcare services on Sundays, national holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays, which were previously closed days.

Details of the new service

(1) Assignment of childcare staff dedicated to Sunday and national holidays. We aim to provide high quality childcare both on weekdays and holidays.

A full-time manager and childcare staff will be assigned for day and holiday childcare. In order not to increase the workload of weekday caregivers and to maintain a comfortable working environment so that the quality of each childcare service can continue to be high, we have hired a new full-time staff member for day and holiday care. The staff will provide seamless support for growth by participating in weekday daycare sites and meetings, and communicating information with homeroom teachers.

(2) Childcare is available on Sundays, national holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays for a monthly childcare fee only. No additional fees will be charged.

The service is available on weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays according to the parent's work schedule, and the monthly childcare fee is the same regardless of which days the child is taken care of. There is no additional charge for childcare on Sundays and holidays. As on weekdays, the center is open from 7:00 to 20:00 to support working parents.

(3) Small-group, different-age childcare provides a warm and exciting family-like experience.

On Sundays and holidays, the number of children in our care is smaller than on weekdays, and children are not divided into classes according to age, but are cared for together in different age groups. Rather than a joint daycare where children are not allowed to do certain things because there is another class, we will provide a family-like atmosphere where children can enrich each other's lives and grow together in a small society, as well as exciting experiences that are possible only at a daycare center. We do not just take care of the children, but also provide activities that are seamlessly connected to the weekday daycare.
