This is a 4-player digital card game based on the poker game "BETZ", which was released in 2023 and makes full use of special abilities.
What makes this game different from regular poker is that players can use special abilities such as changing the numbers on their playing card or blocking some roles with the help of "command cards".
The key to victory is which command cards to use and how to organize the deck of command cards in order to fight through the limited number of rounds. Even players who feel they have a weak hand can aim for a chance to turn the tables by effectively using command cards.
The board game version of "BETZ," which allows players to experience these gameplay features, will be exhibited at Game Market 2024 Autumn at Makuhari Messe on November 16 (Sat.) and 17 (Sun.). You can try out the board game version of the game, so please feel free to visit us at booth "P17".
In developing the digital version of the game, the character design has been completely redesigned.
While maintaining the cyberpunk taste, they will be reborn with stylish and cooler new designs.
Development is underway for the 2025 Steam Early Access launch.
In Early Access, we plan to release Casual Match, where you are randomly matched with other players, and Room Match, where you can play with your friends.
At the official release, we plan to add "Ranked Matches" and "Training Elements" to aim for higher ranks. We are also planning to add new characters and storylines that have not appeared in the board game version, so that players can enjoy the world view of "BETZ".
We will announce the development status of "BETZ" as soon as it is released.
