Ryota Miyashita produced Card Case performance "Father and Manzai" will be held at Takadanobaba Rabinesto from November 22 (Fri) to 24 (Sun) and at Fukaya Civic Cultural Hall Small Hall from November 30 (Sat) to December 1 (Sun).

'We want to bring the energy of entertainment to our hometown!' "We want to bring entertainment that will inspire people to work hard tomorrow! This will be the third year since we started producing the show in 2022. From this year onward, we will be presenting the show under the name "Card Case!

The impetus for the first produced performance came from Miyashita's wish that his grandparents, who were unable to travel to Tokyo due to Corona, could see him performing on stage. Over the past two years, the number of people who support us in our hometown, the surrounding areas, and our base of operations in Tokyo has gradually increased. Now, in its third year, Miyashita is working to make his hometown even more exciting with entertainment, and to deliver productions that will inspire the audience to "keep on working hard tomorrow.

We want local people to feel free to come to the theater and see our productions, so we have set the ticket price for the Fukaya performance at 1,500 yen for adults and 500 yen for high school students and younger. While working with a low budget, we hope to continue and expand the show next year and the year after that.

We hope to bring the fun and power of the stage to those who see our performances!

Synopsis

My father has always been a workaholic, and his "seriousness" is the only thing that he can be proud of. I don't have any memories of him since I was a child. He had made up his mind not to be like his father, but his marriage with his wife did not work out and he found himself busy with work every day just like his father. One day, he learns that his father has been hospitalized. When the doctor tells him he has only one year to live, he says to her, "I want to be a comic actor with you. I want to be a comedian with you." He was troubled by this ridiculous wish, but it was his father's last wish. He has no choice but to prepare for the manzai contest at the end of the year...

This project will serve as a stepping stone for us to stand on our own feet. Through the Card Case performance, we will do our best to deliver a play that can be enjoyed by all ages, from grandparents and adults to children, and that will make people think, "Let's keep on working hard tomorrow.
